Parks and Recreation

Stephens County Parks and Recreation is where community, activity, and opportunity come together.

Organized recreation plays a key role in making Stephens County a great place to live and work, and our department is proud to offer a wide range of programs, facilities, and events for residents of all ages. From youth sports to adult fitness, we are committed to enhancing quality of life through recreation.

Our team works hard every day to create opportunities for children, youth, adults, and visitors to stay active, build relationships, and grow both physically and mentally. Beyond recreation, we strive to promote educational, emotional, social, and cultural development across our community.

As Stephens County continues to grow, so does our commitment to providing safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities while planning for the future with new and improved recreational spaces.

Roselane Recreation Complex

Our department is headquartered at the 88-acre Roselane Recreation Complex, a premier destination for recreation in Stephens County. Amenities include:

  • Stephens County Senior Center
  • 14,000+ square foot Activity Center featuring:
    • Two gymnasiums
    • Aerobics and dance room
    • Gymnastics area
    • Concessions and restrooms
  • Four youth baseball/softball fields
  • Three adult softball fields
  • One football field
  • One certified baseball field
  • 24-hole disc golf course
  • Five indoor and six outdoor pickleball courts
  • Three tennis courts
  • 60×40 indoor heated exercise therapy pool
  • Dual playground (ages 2–5 and 6–12)
  • Inclusive park
  • Splash Pad
  • Walking track and stretching station

SCentral Bark Dog Park

Located next to the Roselane ball fields, SCentral Bark Dog Park is a great space for your pets to play and socialize. The park features two separate areas:

  • One for dogs weighing 26 pounds or less
  • One for dogs weighing more than 26 pounds
