In an effort to make government as accessible as possible, Stephens County offers the ability to pay traffic fines and county taxes online and provides access to state of Georgia services for renewing your tag and your driver’s license.
The Clerk of Superior Court accepts payment for tickets issued in Stephens County by the Georgia State Patrol or the Stephens County Sheriff’s Department. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Note there is a service fee charged by a third-party company to cover the cost of this convenient and secure payment service.
It’s easy to pay your county taxes and mobile home fees online. You can search by name, address, bill Number (exclude Tax Year) and parcel number. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal and Paypal Credit are accepted.
You may use the Georgia Department of Revenue portal to renew your tag. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted. The service fee for credit card payments is 2.35% (with a $1 minimum fee) for credit and debit card transactions.
Stephens County does not accept E-Checks. After successfully renewing, your new tag receipt/decals will be mailed within 5 business days. For questions regarding renewal or if you did not receive your renewal notice, please contact the tag office.
The Georgia Department of Driver Services offers the convenience of online license renewal. All drivers who wish to utilize this service must establish a Customer Account. This account can be used to renew your license, obtain information specific to your driving record and check the status of your order. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted.
