LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of Voting equipment to be used in the November 2, 2021 General Municipal Election for The Town of Martin and Special Election for Stephens County will begin October 1, 2021 at 10:00 am. Testing will continue from day to day until complete. Members of the public, representatives of the parties and bodies, and news media are entitled to be present during testing but shall not interfere in any way with such testing. Said testing and preparation will be conducted at the Stephens County Historic Courthouse – 37 W.Tugalo St. Toccoa, GA 30577

Early Voting Dates and Times

The Town of Martin Municipal Election 

E-Splost Election

Monday – Friday October 12th through October 29th, 2021 from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday October 16th and 23rd from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Stephens County Historic Courthouse

Please call the office at 706-886-8954 to request an absentee ballot application to receive an absentee ballot for the November election. Absentee Ballots can be requested until October 22, 2021. The Official Absentee Ballot Box will be located in the Historic Courthouse during early voting hours only.

Last day to register to vote will be October 4, 2021 to be eligible to vote in the November 2, 2021 election.

Official Absentee Ballot Drop Box will be located in the Stephens County Historic Courthouse during early voting hours only.

The Board of Elections and Registration serves as Stephens County Election Superintendent and Board of Registrars. As required by state law, the board meets on the first Thursday of each month at on the second floor of the Stephens County Historic Courthouse. The office is open from 8am to 5pm weekdays.
